Islamabad – Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), was called on Albert P. Khorev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, at his office in the Russian Embassy, Islamabad. Both the Ambassadors exchanged views on matters of mutual interest including growing economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries across bilateral and multilateral levels.
Ambassador Dr. Jemal noted the increasing bilateral cooperation, especially within the BRICS framework, across key sectors such as trade, investment, science and technology, climate change and health. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of the FDR Ethiopia for strengthening political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
The Russian Ambassador Albert P Khorev said both the countries enjoyed longstanding relations based on mutual respect and understanding. He emphasized on further strengthening the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two nations.
