Gilgit – 17 July 2025 : A Full Scale Airport Emergency Exercise (FSAEE) was successfully conducted today at Gilgit Airport under the supervision of the Airport Manager. The exercise began with a comprehensive briefing, outlining key emergency protocols and the importance of inter-agency coordination.
The objective of the exercise was to evaluate the preparedness and operational efficiency of all stakeholders in the event of a real-time emergency. Representatives from the armed forces, airport functionaries, law enforcement, firefighting units, intelligence, civil aviation partners, and the district administration actively participated in the drill.
The exercise was officially observed by representatives from security, intelligence, and rescue agencies, showcasing unified commitment to aviation safety.
This joint effort significantly strengthened inter-agency collaboration and enhanced the overall emergency response framework at Gilgit Airport.
