As Trump and Putin hash out Ukraine’s fate over the phone, its embattled leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy landed in Helsinki ahead of an official visit to Finland on Wednesday.
He is set to discuss military and political support for Ukraine with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
According to Stubb’s office, talks will cover Finland’s assistance to Ukraine, efforts to end the war with Russia, and meetings with defence industry leaders.
Zelenskyy will also meet Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Parliament Speaker Jussi Halla-aho, while his wife, Olena Zelenska, visits local schools with Suzanne Innes-Stubb, the Finnish president’s wife.
